I am a philosopher at the University of Toronto, specializing in epistemology and the philosophy of mind. Before coming to Toronto, I taught at Union College, and before that was a graduate student at NYU and an undergraduate at New College of Florida. (I never worked at the University of Colorado; that's someone else with the same name.)
My work concerns the first-person perspective and its significance for a number of topics in epistemology and the philosophy of mind, including self-knowledge, epistemic akrasia, perception, memory, skepticism, epistemic circularity, and social epistemology.
