NOTE: There are two philosophers named 'David Barnett'. The other, who is a professor at the University of Colorado, can be found here.

I am an assistant professor in the Department of Philosophy at Union College. Before coming to Union, I was a PhD student in the Department of Philosophy at New York University, and before that I was an undergraduate at New College of Florida.

I work on a number of topics at the intersection of epistemology with the philosophy of mind, including introspection, higher-order justification, skepticism, the Cartesian Circle, and the epistemology of memory and testimony.
